Opening December 31, Cuando el recuerdo se convierte en polvo II

(ORANJESTAD – December 10, 2020) EL PRAN Projecten will open a unique virtual exhibition featuring Cuban artist Ricardo Miguel Hernández on December 31, on view till March 31, 2021. Cuando el recuerdo se convierte en polvo II (2018-2020) will feature works by Hernández, constituting of micro-stories gathered in photo collages, curated by Yenny Hernández.

Hernández studied at the Cátedra Arte de Conducta, created and directed by Tania Bruguera. He has exhibited in several solo exhibitions in countries like Italy and Cuba. Furthermore, Hernández carried out many group exhibitions around the world in countries such as Spain, Brazil, United States, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Cuba. He is also a recipient of several residencies and awards including, first prize at the IV Biennial of Photography in memoriam Alfredo Sarabia, Cuba.

Cuando el recuerdo se convierte en polvo II is presented by EL PRAN Projecten as a result of the “Curaduría Malandra” research.
