EL PRAN Projecten presents Kontemplashon di multiplisidat den kontekstonan

(ORANJESTAD – March 23, 2021) EL PRAN Project will open this March 31 at 12:01 PM, a unique virtual exhibition featuring the artist Nash Caldera, Curacao / NL. 

Nash Caldera proposes different exercises by combining the right to the construction of identity from the tradition, space of origin, cultural appropriation, and empowerment of the mother tongue in physical actions that articulate poetic and political gestures in various contexts. 

Under the title “Contemplation of multiplicity in contexts’ the creator will show the results of a curatorial accompaniment exercise carried out by EL PRAN Projecten, which began in January 2021 and will continue for three more months with the presentation of the videos through the PRAN Projecten website.

This virtual showroom consists of several audiovisual pieces. These pieces trace a new space between videography and the documentation of physical actions. It is a collection of acts that the artist has been exploring regularly. 

Thus, this project represents Caldera’s new findings made during the post-covid-19 context while conditioning the reflection on the body and its senses on a global scale for being the epicenter of the pandemic. 

Nash Caldera will generate programmed deliveries during the next three months. Including new audiovisual pieces, voice notes, and texts created as part of this diary of notes that document her artistic production.
