Cura\u00e7ao.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8216;PALIMPSEST + ING&#8217; presents us with a methodological system of artistic production. The essence of this work is in the documentation of processes that become visible in the final results, where &#8220;by layers&#8221; the artist explores different fields of knowledge, cultural reference, or the practice of a craft. It stems from the documentation of herself as a body, an image, a context, and a language.<\/p>\n<p>These works show the different layers or apparent aspects under the artist&#8217;s surface, which she created or authenticated in years while compiling knowledge and self-developing various artistic skills. Tremus delivers in &#8216;Palimpsest + ing&#8217; a series of art pieces (written, illustrated in physical and digital media) exploring popular superstitions in the Curacaoan (and the Dutch Caribbean)
